Ferritic Stainless Steel Sheet

According to the different production process, stainless steel plate can be divided into cold rolled stainless steel plate and hot rolled stainless steel plate two categories. But according to the different materials can be divided into austenite, ferrite, martensitic stainless steel plate. Like other types of stainless steel plate, stainless steel plate has strong corrosion resistance and rust resistance. Its excellent quality makes it an important industrial raw material and building material.

Martensitic Stainless Steel Sheet

Stainless steel plates have a smooth surface, high plasticity, toughness, and mechanical strength, and are resistant to corrosion from acids, alkaline gases, solutions, and other media. While it is a rust-resistant alloy steel, it is not completely rustproof. Stainless steel plates are resistant to corrosion from weak media such as air, steam, and water, while acid-resistant steel plates are resistant to corrosion from chemically aggressive media such as acids, alkalis, and salts.

Austenitic Stainless Steel Sheet

Stainless steel sheet is categorized by international standards into the 200 series (chromium-nickel-manganese), 300 series (chromium-nickel), and 400 series (chromium). General-purpose 304 (0Cr18Ni9) and the highly corrosion-resistant 316 (containing molybdenum) are primarily used in industry, while the 440 series is used in tool manufacturing for its high hardness. Annealing and solution treatment are required to ensure mechanical properties. Specialized processes such as laser cutting are employed during processing, as conventional flame cutting is limited by the material's oxygen resistance. Surface treatment options include a variety of finishes, such as patterned and brushed sheet.
