Medical Equipment Stainless Steel Pipe
The surface treatment of stainless steel pipes mainly includes mechanical polishing, sandblasting, pickling and passivation, electrolytic polishing, solution treatment and other methods. Different processes are suitable for different scenarios and can improve corrosion resistance, aesthetics or mechanical properties.
Stainless steel pipe applications in industrial manufacturing include: 1. Petrochemical: Used for transporting high-temperature, high-pressure media (such as refinery cracking gas pipelines) and connecting corrosion-resistant chemical storage tanks. 316L stainless steel pipe is suitable for environments containing chloride ions. 2. Application of stainless steel pipes in the field of construction engineering: 1. Building structure: used for high-rise building curtain wall support frames and bridge load-bearing components. Thin-walled stainless steel pipes can reduce the structure's deadweight by more than 30%. 2. Water supply system: Direct drinking water pipes are made of 304/316L food-grade material with an inner wall smoothness of Ra ≤ 0.8μm, which inhibits bacterial growth. 3. Decoration engineering: Indoor and outdoor railings and handrails are made of 201 or 304 materials, which are both beautiful and weather-resistant. Molybdenum-containing stainless steel is preferred in coastal areas.
Application of stainless steel pipes in people's livelihood and special fields: 1. Food and medical: Food processing equipment pipelines meet HACCP certification requirements, and there is no metal ion precipitation when transporting acidic beverages and dairy products. Medical 316LVM stainless steel pipes are used for surgical instruments and heart stents, and have passed ISO 10993 biocompatibility testing. 2.
